Dr. Jessica Edeal brings over 18 years of experience in the field of special education, with the majority of her career dedicated to direct practitioner work as a school psychologist in school-based settings. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a school emphasis and an Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology from Fort Hays State University. She also earned her Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Management, with a concentration in Special Education Leadership, from Drexel University.
Dr. Edeal is currently licensed as a school psychologist in Nebraska, Arizona, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, and Wyoming. Across her career, she has served with distinction as a school psychologist, university instructor and program leader, and director of special education services.
She brings specialized expertise in developing sustainable, system-level supports within public schools, including Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Her work also reflects advanced knowledge in Autism Spectrum Disorder and in conducting comprehensive, individualized psychoeducational evaluations that inform meaningful and practical educational planning.
Her professional expertise is deeply shaped by her work with students of all abilities, as well as her personal experience raising a child with an identified reading disability. This perspective provides her with a unique understanding of the academic and emotional challenges families may encounter and strengthens her commitment to ensuring that every child receives individualized, evidence-based support.
